Liz and I have a date to see the movie when it comes out. I am so excited, and will probably cry like a baby! :)

Finished
I finished The Secret Life of Bees on Wednesday. It was such a fabulous book, I would recommend the read to anyone! The story of a young girl searching for the truth about her mother and subsequently finding "mothers" to spend her life with, truly touched my heart. I found myself crying a lot during the book because Lilly came so alive through the pages.

What I'm Reading...
Since I finished The Bridges of Madison County on Friday, I needed to start a new book. Today I began The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd. I'm only 30 pages in so far, but it is great.
The novel is also making its debut as a movie this month, with the likes of Dakota Fanning, Queen Latifah, Alicia Keys, etc., so I can't wait to finish the book and then see the movie!
Fun Day...
So last night I had the worst night's sleep in a long time, not really sure why but oh well. I thought today would be long and hard to get through, but I had a really great day! Emmy and I played with play-doh for hours and then we went to Target.
I've become obsessed with my teeth so I bought some white trays, new floss, toothpaste and mouthwash. I am curious to see how it all works together.
I also purchased the new Jonas Brothers CD (haha, love them!) and Sex & The City! Overall it was a great day!!
I also got plans for this weekend set for the most part and I'm ridiculously excited! Creamy Acres, Apple Festival, Chickie's, Flyers, going out in the city and hanging out with my bests. Amazing!!!
My word for the day: excitedddddd!

New Job!!!
Yay, so I just came back from an "interview" with a family for a potential nanny position. Well needless to say I took the job because of the perks. And here they are: 40% more pay than my current job, 4 day work week, paid holidays and paid vacation. Yah that will definitely work for right now. I also let them know of my intention on beginning nursing school in the future and they said they would work a schedule around me. Pretty awesome, huh? Needless to say I am really excited because this time a week ago I was slightly freaking out. Yayyy!!! :)
My word for the day is: fabulous!!!!!

My Obsession
I am totally obsessed with my Members Only leggings! I ordered them from Kitson in LA and as soon as they got here, I put them on and fell in love. I have noo idea what to wear with them, but I'm going to try this place Francesca's that Liz and Alena told me about. I hope I find something because I cannot wait to wear them out!
Happy.
My Weekend
Last night I went out with Liz and Alena to this great wine bar in Hammonton. The food was delish even though the portions were small and the wine was excellent! We then took ourselves to Rocco's Townhouse which was so fun, and I enjoyed being the tallest person there. Haha, no joke I towered, but I'm over it. :) Liz and Alena are so fun to hang out with and I can't wait to do it again some time!
Today, I am babysitting for the people that I work for from 4:15pm to about midnight I assume. It's money in the bag so that's exciting and it should be easy considering the kids just play with each other.
And tomorrow I have an "interview" of sorts with a family for a potential nanny position. I really wanted to put my education to use and find an office job, but with today's job market I'm not sure how that's going to work out for me. Therefore, I may just take this job for a little while until I find something else. :)
So far the weekend has been great and I kind of enjoy the "slowness of it." Ever since the ex and I broke up I've been going, going, going and it's nice to relax a little. :)
Finished
So, I finished The Bridges of Madison County yesterday. It was such a great book, no wonder it stayed on the Bestseller list for like 100+ weeks! I definitely recommend this book to anyone, it was a beautiful, twist of fate love story. I loved it!!! :)

What I'm Reading...
Since I love to read, I figured I would tell what book I am currently reading and then give a little critique about it. Right now I am reading The Bridges of Madison County by Robert Waller. I am about 40 pages in and I am thoroughly enjoying the read. I have never seen the movie, so that will be the next step after I complete the book. I will keep ya posted...
Dating
Although it seemed a little early to me at first, I'm ready to date. Or at least go out and have some fun with a guy. I have learned over the years that guys are fun as long as they aren't jerks (ahem, ahem).
Grabbing drinks at a bar, going out to dinner or watching the Eagles, Flyers or Phillies (if you aren't a sports fan, ya no I can't date ya) are a couple of my favorite things. I am ready to make new memories with someone so much cooler than the ex. :)
Amazing friends...
I have some truly amazing friends. This whole process would have been awful without them by my side. Yet, today a "new" friend of sorts wrote me the nicest email. I honestly started crying in a good way, because they were the kindest words someone could say, especially since she's only known me for a little while. I want to share the email:
"Jaci I think that writing it down is great and like Krista said I really can't imagine how you are really feeling but I know that its hard...I'm sure you do miss him and things you used to do together but it's such a better thing in the end what you did. I told you this before that I admire you for what you did, you said that you "were" so independent before you met him but you are only 23 now and so much younger when you met that you haven't had a chance yet to be a grown independent woman! I think that what you did is one of the hardest choices that many women face and you actually did something about it and that's why you ARE strong! As "the day" draws near your heart may feel heavy and you may feel sad and maybe even cry a little please know that what you did was for the best and you have a new group of friends that are cheering you on and want to see you happy...because that's what everyone deserves :)
loves ya bitch"
Yah, that was awesome. And that's why my word for the day is: friends. Who could make it through the day without them?
October!
Today is the start of my favorite month of the whole entire year. Yes, I know I am weird. I love this month more than November, December, January and April: the month of my birth.
Ever since I was a little kid, I always remembered my mom going crazy for Halloween, our house was all decorated and I just loved everything that the Fall has to offer. My mom says she went nuts with Halloween because it was a less painful holiday to celebrate than that of Thanksgiving and Christmas after the passing of my dad.
So needless to say that is why I was getting married in October, but I am not going to let that get in the way of the best month of the year. :)
I am beyond excited about all of this, wooooo! I even went pumpkin picking already with Emmy. And I can't wait to visit some haunted houses and hayrides as well. Bring on Halloween!!!
